Wunders, in collaboration with @mmakesspace, will be part of the Design Showcase at RMB Latitudes Art Fair x @designweeksouthafrica.
A celebration of African creativity, RMB Latitudes brings together artists, galleries and collectors from across the continent, while Design Week South Africa creates space for local design to be seen, experienced and engaged with in new ways.
We’ll be showcasing two pieces. The Bankie, created by @_heath_nash_, inspired by the ones used daily by our Wunders team in the factory, and the Slippers, made in collaboration with @leza_co using @tosca.lazard woven waste mohair and leather offcuts.
For over 40 years, Wunders has been rooted in handcrafted furniture. Through @mmakesspace, we continue to explore how materials can be reworked and reimagined, finding new ways to extend their use.
