Description

The design principles for the Wunders Mac Collection follow those of the “SLOWLIVING” movement.

Much like in fashion, interior and furniture design is becoming more intentional and considered. For this collection, we opted to move away from the ‘here and now’ prescribed by fleeting trends in favour of a neutral material palette.

Ivan McCarthy From IVNMC

Solid wood and neutral fabrics give a sense of sophistication and timelessness while ensuring longevity. Aligned with this design longevity is craftmanship. The Slow Movement encourages us to buy less and buy better. The quality of our craftsmanship will outlast any trend. The things we value most are those that last –and if we love them, we’re more inclined to make the effort to look after them. We want these pieces to be integrated into your already established interiors and layered with items that make your home uniquely yours.

The Mac Collection is modern and minimal yet warm and liveable. It embodies the William Morris mantra: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful”.

How should I measure to make sure this fits?

To measure for your new Wunders piece, make sure to clear a space in the room where your new piece will be placed. Measure the width and length of the space to give you an idea of the furniture size you need. Remember the importance of scale when decorating a space. Make sure the size and shape functions within the space and its not too large that you cannot adequately move around, oversized furniture can have an adverse affect and make a room appear small and undersized pieces will appear to be floating and misplaced.

Your home should be a story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.
